Six days and counting...

We're officially on the count down. We get to see Justin on Monday!!!! He has spent this last month working at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh. We last saw him July 29th, so needless to say we are REALLY excited.
This weekend was a big one for us. Elizabeth went to her first sleepover at her cousins' house this weekend. I waited up for quite a while just knowing that I would get a phone call that she needed to come home, but it never happened. My sister said she did great. When I got there in the morning she looked at me and said "I don't want to go yet Mommy!"
Open house for preschool was tonight. I can't believe she's going back to school. She seems bigger to me everyday.
My little man moves faster everyday, and loves being able to chase his big sister. But his poor little knees are so red from the carpet. He is really getting vocal and is very opionated. His laugh is so contagious. Daddy isn't going to believe how big he has gotten.

What a blessed life I lead!

Happy Anniversaries!!!!

This is a big week and important week for Justin and me. Without this week in the calendar we wouldn't be here. :)
So this blog is dedicated to 4 people who will never read it... To Tim, Cathy, Randy and Ann. Thanks for being wonderful parents and for hanging onto your marriages and your faiths for so long.

Congratulations Tim & Cathy on 30 years. Elvis' death doesn't outshine you in our eyes.

Congratulations Randy & Ann on 39 years. That is a really long time... (I just wanted to make you feel old) And thanks for not holding it against me that I can never actually remember the date. :)

We are proud of you, and proud that we belong to you.

Way too long...

So, it's been way too long since I updated my blog. My apologies to anyone who has checked this in the last three weeks (or however long it has been). Justin finished his two months in Colorado and is now in Pittsburgh. So far he really likes this rotations. At least he is being treated nicely by the doctors and residents there.
The kids and I have made our way to my parents house in Texas. We are enjoying ourselves and love the time we are getting to spend with family here.
This week is Nana camp where all of the cousins get together for a week of fun and mayhem together at Nana's house.
I realize this was a short update, but nap time is almost over and tonight is Chuck E. Cheese night and we've got lots of fun in store, so I should get myself ready for the party! :)
I will update more consistently now that we are a little more settled. I hope you are all doing well.
